Terms & Conditions
When you place an order with us it will be deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you are unhappy with any part of these terms and conditions, you should contact us before placing an order. We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non acceptance of an order may be as a result of one of the following: the product being out of stock; our inability to obtain the authorisation of payment; the identification of an error within the product information, including price and promotion; and you not meeting the eligibility to order as set out in the Terms and Conditions. The terms of your order will be made available to you on request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, we advise you to print off and retain confirmation of the order for your records.
Unfortunately we may find that an item has sold out after you have placed your order, we will notify you of this as soon as possible and either offer you an alternative or a refund, or we may be able to request more stock from the supplier.
Sometimes, we may offer a pre-order facility for an item we are awaiting delivery on, an estimated day of delivery will be provided on the website and we will notify you via email once the stock has arrived in.
Some of our items will be dispatched to you directly from our suppliers which may result in you receiving more than one package for your order.
Wooden Gadgets reserve the right to change the prices of our products at any time. If a pricing error is identified on an advertised product before an item is shipped, Wooden Gadgets retains the right to offer the customer a full refund or the opportunity to purchase the item at the correct selling price.
We use a range of different delivery options to get your order out to you as quickly as possible. Standard delivery takes between 2 and 5 working days and is usually delivered by Royal Mail, although we may use different couriers where appropriate.
Please note that some addresses like the Scottish Highlands and Ireland may take a little longer. Deliveries to the Channel Islands may take up to ten working days. All deliveries are subject to the couriers Terms and Conditions. We also offer international delivery, this is never eligible for free standard delivery; please see details of pricing at checkout or contact our customer service team for more information.
Returns and Exchanges
We offer a full refund or exchange if you are not satisfied with your goods – no questions asked. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please send goods with completed returns form within 28 days of receipt, in a resalable condition. If you wish to return sale items you must notify us of this within 7 working days from receipt of your package. You must return the products to us at your own cost. You are responsible for the items until they are received at the return address and thus we advise customers to request a free certificate of posting or receipt from the post office or courier and retain this until receipt is confirmed by us.
Where an email address is provided we will confirm any cancellation or refund by email, you should expect your refund within 10 working days from dispatch of your returned items.
Delivery charges from the original order will not be refunded. This does not affect your rights to claim for defective or faulty goods or workmanship under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) or the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.
In the unfortunate circumstance where an item has arrived faulty or damaged you should contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible.
Personalised items cannot be returned unless they are damaged in transit.
You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 working days of receipt of the goods (with the exception of certain items ‘which by their nature cannot be returned’). You may not return products if they have been damaged (in our reasonable opinion) as a result of fair wear and tear, deliberate damage, accidental damage (by you), negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow manufacturer instructions, misuse or alteration or repair of the goods without manufacturer approval.
Please notify us as soon as possible if you want to cancel your order, we will do our best to stop the order from being sent to you but in some cases will be unable to do so. In these cases you should either reject the order at point of delivery or you will have to return the item to us at your own cost. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Gift Vouchers and Promotions
Gift vouchers can be exchanged for merchandise online at www.woodengadgets.com. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash. Gift vouchers can be used towards the purchase of goods at a higher price than its face value upon payment of the difference. Wooden Gadgets is under no liability for replacement or refund should vouchers be lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed whether they have been redeemed or not. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse any vouchers that have been modified, damaged or defaced. Gift vouchers are only valid with a unique serial number on the reverse. Discount codes and promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and they cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers. We reserve the right to withdraw gift vouchers, codes and promotions at any time without prior warning.
We at Wooden Gadgets pride ourselves on the quality of our products, the efficiency of our deliveries and the diligence of our customer services team. We test and love all the products we sell and we have a no quibbles return policy if you are not satisfied with a product for whatever reason (excluding personalised products).
